DescriptionSenior Tax Manager- Wisconsin (Milwaukee area)
90-115k base + 14k bonus.
Public or Corporate experience required with CPA, focus in Tax and Masters or JD and 10+ years experience with 5+ in management.
Reports to Senior Director
Responsible for tax research, planning and compliance of a Corporate and plants within the US.
*Assessment of current and proposed federal and state tax laws and regulations and provide guidance for implementation of actions to achieve a more favorable tax environment in the United States.
* Develop systems and procedures for the accumulation of data necessary for the preparation of the federal, state and local and foreign country tax returns and related disclosure documents.
*Advise taxation regarding positions reflected in the company current and deferred tax provisions, tax exposure analysis and tax returns.
*IRS representation as needed
* Assist in corporate strategic and financial planning by supporting the development of business plans and providing advice and counsel on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
* Responsible for overseeing the coordination and preparation of the Federal consolidated income tax return by tax analysts. This includes the review and guidance of tax analysts in their preparation of the return, a review and re-engineering of the preparation process and advice and counsel to the Director Taxation regarding issues identified related to the federal tax return.
* Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of the Companys quarterly and year-end tax provision (FAS 109) calculations, estimated tax payments/installments.
* Merger & Acquisitions due diligence and tax structuring.
