We are a global manufacturing company. Our products are some of the most recognized brands in our industry and due to expansion we are looking for a Cost Accountant that has worked for a manufacturing plant to join our outstanding team.

What you need for this position!

- 3+ years cost accounting in a manufacturing plant
- B.S. Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
- Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes
- Strong with Excel modeling
- CMA is a plus
- Knowledge of MAS200 a plus

What you will be doing!

- Manage daily cost accounting operations
- Forecast material and labor usage to support supply chain and production
- Improve manufacturing model, optimize staffing schedules, and consolidate waste metric reporting
- Support procurement determine low cost suppliers
- Work ensure the accuracy of perpetual inventory balances
- Audit and maintain support documentation for all inventory adjustments in compliance with SOX
