An exceptional multi billion dollar manufacturing company with a facility in Juarez has an immediate need to fill an Auditor position. The successful candidate will have at LEAST 4 years Auditor experience working within a manufacturing environment (preferable Automotive). A Bachelors degree is required. Must be bilingual in both Spanish and English. Mexican Nationals will be preferred. up to 85% travel will be required. Awesome opportunities for growth within this large manufacturing company. CPA prefered. Other certifications will be preferred.
Job Responsible
Plan and perform financial, operational, process and Sarbanes Oxley audits
Complete audit work programs in compliancy with internal audit best practices and project deadlines.
Evaluate internal controls
Prepare audit reports including identified issues, related risks and positive recommendations.
Discuss audit results with local management.
Communicate with American, Mexican and South American Corporate Management.
Provide technical support to Lear management when required.
Help and support the rest of the audit team to achieve audit objectives.
Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve the audit departments operations.
Project administration (travel organization, expenses reports, etc.).
Technical Skills and Requirements
Excellent financial and accounting skills, including US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley
Excellent analytical and auditing skills: able to understand financial and operational processes in complex business environments, identify issues, understand related risks and propose positive recommendations.
High level of understanding of IT accounting and production systems
Excellent communication and reporting skills English and Portuguese is a plus
High user knowledge of MS Office package
Suitable user knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and audit specialized software (ie: QAD, JBA, MFGPRO, Hyperion, ACL etc.)
Experience in use of electronic audit work papers
Excellent team work skills
Good leadership and team management skills
Able to work in flexible and international environments, with tight deadlines
Able to travelling 80 to 85% mainly within Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Honduras and United States countries and occasionally overseas
Background
University degree in the finance, business administration or accounting area equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit with a Big 4 or in internal audit
Fluent level of English
Suitable certification in the audit and/or financial areas (ie: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), External Auditor Certification, etc).
