A highly successful and growing wealth management firm located in the SouthPark District in Charlotte, NC is seeking an extremely organized and detailed self-starter to work in an office with a growing team in the servicing of current and prospective client relationships. The Client Service Associate reports to the Advisors and is critical to appropriately leveraging Advisors’ time. This position utilizes excellent customer service and problem-solving skills to confidently provide information and excellent customer service to clients and advisors in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist advisor team in their day-to-day activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment
  • Proactively work to ensure all advisor client follow-up and associated tasks are completed; create and maintain a spreadsheet to track all outstanding follow-up tasks to be reviewed regularly with each advisor
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service contact / client facing experience
  • Perform general administrative duties including but not limited to: answering phones, filing, processing mail, scheduling meetings and other responsibilities that support the company
  • Prepare advisors for client and prospect meetings on an ongoing basis. Gather and prepare for use all necessary presentation and sales materials
  • Onboard new clients including the set-up of accounts, recurring money movements, online access, and the scheduling of the ongoing quarterly review cycle
  • Collaborate with Marketing to prepare customized marketing campaigns and events, prepare and execute marketing plans, and provide routine market data and analysis
  • Maintain information in the company CRM database, including but not limited to: entering new contacts and/or companies, creating groups and/or running reports

Skills Needed / Desired:

  • Ability to take initiative and is a self-starter, willing to learn
  • Prefer a financial services, brokerage, wealth management, RIA, banking industry or similar industry background
  • Highly organized, meticulous and detail oriented
  • Demonstrated excellent prioritization and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cohesively with executives and team members
  • Ability to deliver highest level of customer service and have a positive and helpful attitude
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and be self-motivated
  • Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality
  • Strong work ethic with ability to take initiative and think ahead
  • Solid writing skills and editing skills with a command for the English language
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; able to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks at once.

  • This position is ideal for a candidate holding their Series 65 or willing to pursue this designation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience
  • Recent graduates and MBA's with solid internship financial experience considered
  • Proven strong client service skills

Technical Skills:

  • Skills in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel required
  • Sales Force CRM a plus
  • Must be technology saavy

Education: Degree a plus
