Position Summary:
Office of the Bursar. The Student Accounts Counselor provides financial counseling services to students and parents.

Essential Functions

  • Provides information in regards to tuition/fees, financial aid, scholarships, payment plan and financial responsibility.
  • Counsels on financial implications of registration, drop/add and withdrawals.
  • Processes third party billing.
  • Delivers SOAR presentations and represents the office at events such as open house, receptions, etc.

    Bachelor’s Degree

    One or more years of related work experience

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.
