Our client, a leading F100 biotech company with an impressive track record, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst I – HIV to join their team.  Bio/Pharma background is preferred.  This socially responsible company offers a highly competitive compensation package.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing U.S sales and marketing expenses for the HIV Commercial Franchise as part of the North America Commercial/Sales Finance team reporting to the Associated Finance Director. 

Partner with the HIV Commercial sales and marketing team to develop HIV expenses and headcount forecasting, reporting and analysis including quarterly LE (latest estimation), annual budget and 3 years’ long range planning
  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly expenses close to ensure accurate liability is accrued in compliance with accounting policies.
  • Work closely with marketing team to support the key strategic business initiatives including PrEP and TAF launch investments to ensure alignment with strategy
  • Provide summary and various ad-hoc analytics to help Executive Management understand our quarterly and annual expenses performance and highlight key drivers for variance analysis
  • Proactively recommend process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our reporting and analysis
 Duties and Job Functions:
  • Develop and implement financial reporting applications that optimize the use of Company resources.
  • Support financial systems activities that require extensive knowledge of Company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in new business process development within various functional areas.
  • Work with business to continually improve and achieve efficiencies in their processes via reporting, automation and application enhancements   
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
  • The preferred candidate will possess 4 to 6 years’ experience. 
  • BS or BA is required and an MBA or CPA is preferred. 
  • Prior experience in a bio-tech or pharma company is preferred. 
  • Experience in high-growth and multi-national organization a plus.
  • Strong business partnering skills and experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skill is a must.
  • Demonstrated success working in a deadline driven and multi-task environment. 
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic required.  
  • Proficient in accounting and finance.
