Join a leading asset management firm specializing in emerging markets as a Senior Accountant: 
  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly closing procedures of entities in the U.S. and other jurisdictions in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Quarterly compilations of various Fund financial statements, including quarterly calculations of unrealized foreign exchange translation, depletion expense, realized gains on sales of assets, final net asset values to investors, and reconciliation of accounts
  • Calculation of quarterly partner net asset values and management fees and annual incentive fees (carried interest)
  • Analysis and calculation of periodic capital calls and distributions
  • Responsible for approving weekly expenditures across various entities
  • Prepare performance and management reports for properties
  • Responsible for annual audits of financial statements and providing supporting documents to the auditors, including valuations.
  • Responsible for the preparation of schedules necessary for annual tax returns
  • Responsible for review of tax returns prepared by third party tax accountants
  • Various other projects and duties as assigned
Required Skill Set:
  • Detail orientated team player with the ability to take complete ownership of duties
  • Willingness to be part of a challenging and dynamic work environment
  • College degree with 3-5 years of accounting experience, namely periodic closing of general ledgers and reporting 
  • Understanding of tax reporting for partnership and corporate entities
  • Willingness to expand knowledge of tax rules in U.S. and international jurisdictions
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
  • Experience in property or real estate accounting a plus
  • Experience with Yardi, Great Plains or other accounting databases a plus
  • Audit experience and CPA license required 
  • Superior skill in Excel with ability to understand and review complex Excel spreadsheets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Extremely organized – ability to take responsibility for multiple projects simultaneously
