Finance and Administration Director, Non Profit
Our client, an established and reputable non-profit organization in Tyler, seeks a solid individual to assume responsibility for the administration of all financial, human resources and administrative activities for the organization. This includes accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, systems, payroll and benefits, and oversight of facilities. As part of the management team, it would also involve guiding the operational direction of the organization.
Responsibility for financial information, financial reporting, budgets, planning, analysis.
Works closely with and assists Executive Director, as well as the management team.
General ledger, payroll and PTO, paying bills, grant management, insurance.
Handles various administrative tasks, supervises facilities operations personnel, and interfaces with outside IT
At least five years of general accounting experience in a comparable non-profit organization
Knowledge of GAAP accounting and procedures. QuickBooks is a definitely a must.
A pro-active, team player attitude is critical
Mature demeanor, and the ability to truly multitask and coordinate multiple functions simultaneously
Unquestionable integrity, honesty, a proven track record and a self-starter
At least a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business
Company has a culture of true teamwork, with work-life balance (four ten hour days)
