THE COMPANY - FINANCE SPECIALIST - HOUSTON

As The Company continues to grow, we are seeking talented people to join our team; we are now looking for a Media Finance Specialist to work within our Media and Finance Department in our Houston office.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Media Billing
    • Generate drafts
    • Verify against client authorization
    • Meet with and verify billing with account service/media teams
    • Coordinate billings with production accounting
    • Reconcile final clearances
  • EDI
    • Access various sites by medium
    • Download and audit invoices
  • Vendor Invoices
    • Discrepancies to buyers by market
    • Clear audited invoices for payment
    • Direct vendor contact for missing items
  • A/P Media Checks – Assigned by client
    • Issue checks for clearances
    • Obtain necessary signatures
    • Check copies matched with invoices
    • Maintain paid files
    • Make sure checks are released by due date
    • Handle vendor inquiries
 
Requirements:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strata and Advantage experience preferred, but not necessary
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player
  • Advertising agency experience a plus
